Artist, Compositor

Sophia Rigg is a Background artist. She is an environment artist and compositor for film animation. She enjoys working with new filmmakers on animation productions. As an animator, she is hardworking and always a team player working well with the Director on the crew on productions.

 Currently a student of animation and always open to learning new techniques and ideas a 3D generalist with a focus in animation, currently working toward her undergraduate degree in computer art, animation, and VFX at the School of Visual Arts. She has been interested in the art of animation since she was very young. 

She has been animating for over five years and her short film “Forbidden Fruit” has been featured in the South By South West (SXSW) 2019 lineup, film festival and THE BAM! Festival, The Doko Film Festival and received “Best Animation” award. “Forbidden Fruit was also in The All American High School Film Festival and the Santa Monica International Teen Festival. Her current film project is with Fruits of The Spirit Production LLC working as Background Artist on a web series called the Cat Faced Cat. She is also an avid cat lover.
